Best known for:
I have built a strong reputation around my ability to navigate the complexities and challenges of matters that are at the crossroads of business and commercial transactions. I am known for representing clients in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. My philosophy on client service is simple and straightforward: Own the client’s problem like it’s my own, find solutions, provide outstanding service and effectively communicate throughout the transaction.
Why I chose my practice area:
My background as a single parent prepared me to excel in real estate and business law. The responsibilities of parenting as a single mom are amplified significantly, and this has helped me become a master of prioritization and organization, juggling many projects simultaneously, and empathy, which are, in my opinion, the most valuable skills to possess when practicing real estate and business law.
Most memorable case:
I have served as lead counsel on numerous complex commercial real estate transactions throughout Massachusetts and beyond, representing lenders, developers, investors, business owners and sellers. Memorable matters include representing a federally chartered credit union in a loan to refinance 27 commercial properties, representing a national banking association on a construction loan for housing development, and negotiating long-term commercial leases for tenants and landlords in major retail centers.
What makes me a leader in my field:
I’ve built a portfolio that reflects my versatility and mastery of all aspects of commercial real estate law. As a veteran commercial real estate attorney, I take great pride in being an approachable and accessible resource to all attorneys within the firm, sharing learning opportunities and guidance with young attorneys.
Outlook for 2026:
Strong competition among lenders, increasing regulatory requirements on the state level and fluctuation in interest rates will continue to affect the commercial real estate industry.
Bar involvement/leadership roles:
Member, Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association
