Years in practice:
26
Best known for:
Guiding complex commercial real estate transactions.
Why I chose my practice area:
I chose commercial real estate because it presents a challenge each day to solve problems and achieve results for my clients. If a transaction or project is successful, you can point to the skyline, to a new building that you worked on, and see the actual results of your work.
Most memorable case:
Working on several of Boston’s most complex, mixed-use, high-rise condominium buildings; representing a national life sciences developer for utility relocation in Kendall Square enabling lab and office tower development; representing a marquis downtown Boston hotel in its $200 million renovation project; and representing a quasi-public agency in sale-leaseback transactions for an offshore wind marine terminal facility in Salem Harbor.
What makes me a leader in my field:
My longstanding commitment to excellence, responsiveness, and sound judgment. My dedication to my clients, and the trust and confidence I inspire in my clients and colleagues. My clients value my ability to see the big picture and communicate clearly the steps needed to achieve their objectives.
Outlook for 2026:
I hope to see more office and lab leasing activity and continued development from educational institutions in Boston and surrounding areas. I expect clients to continue making forward-looking investments addressing climate resiliency and energy efficiency.
Bar involvement/leadership roles:
I chair Anderson & Kreiger’s real estate practice, providing strategic, operational and legal leadership, and mentoring real estate associates. I also advise pro bono clients providing real estate support to small businesses.
