Jennifer Grace Miller has joined Hemenway & Barnes in Boston as counsel and co-chair of the government and election law practice. She was chief legal counsel for the Massachusetts Senate.

Patrick J. Kealy has joined Prince Lobel in Boston as a partner and member of the business transactions practice group, with a particular focus on the renewable energy and start-ups and emerging businesses industries.

David W. Bogan has joined Day Pitney as an energy partner in the firm’s Boston and Hartford, Connecticut, offices. He was previously a partner at Locke Lord.

Longtime law firm executive James Durham has joined Verrill as the firm’s new chief operating officer. Durham has worked at Ropes & Gray, McGuireWoods and Littler Mendelson. Verrill has offices in Boston and Providence.

Rebecca Wilsker has joined Holland & Knight in Boston as a partner in the corporate, M&A and securities practice group. She previously was at Choate, Hall & Stewart.

Ironwood Pharmaceuticals of Boston announced the appointment of John Minardo as senior vice president and chief legal officer. He will oversee the company’s corporate legal, compliance and IP teams.

Tracy Thomas Boland has joined Bowditch & Dewey as a partner in the labor and employment group. The firm has offices in Boston, Framingham and Worcester.

Benjamin M. Stern has joined Nutter in Boston as a partner in the litigation department.

Dan Maranci has joined Ogletree Deakins’ Boston office as a shareholder. A business immigration lawyer, he most recently was a partner at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy.

Steven E. DiCairano has joined Mirick O’Connell in Worcester as an associate in the litigation group.

Rachel M. Wassel has joined Ruberto, Israel & Weiner in Boston as a shareholder in the trusts and estates practice group.

Rachel Hutchinson has joined Todd & Weld in Boston as an associate. She will concentrate her practice on complex civil litigation.

Richard N. Bradley has joined Murphy & Riley as of counsel. He will practice out of the Boston office.
