Fall River judge jails defense attorney over ‘attitude,’ ‘body expressions’
The Committee for Public Counsel Services plans to file a complaint with the Commission on Judicial Conduct after one of its attorneys was shackled and spent several hours in a holding cell after a Fall River District Court judge held him in contempt, apparently due to little more than his nervous movements while addressing the court.
