The plaintiff’s vehicle was struck on the highway by a semi-trailer truck, resulting in the plaintiff’s permanent and disabling injuries.

The plaintiff, a young adult, alleged that the truck swerved abruptly into the left passing lane, resulting in his vehicle rolling over.

The plaintiff claimed the collision left him with permanent disabilities and loss of earning capacity. He also claimed loss of consortium.

The defendants were prepared to defend the matter regarding liability and damages. However, a confidential settlement was reached prior to the plaintiff filing suit.

The settlement was in excess of the maximum available insurance policies and resolved in less than one year after the incident.
