2021 Top Women of Law
Mass. Lawyers Weekly Staff//November 12, 2021//
This special section honors Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s Top Women of Law for 2021, including our Circle of Excellence. This year’s Circle is made up of five women who have been honored in the past, but whose continuing achievements and contributions to the community merit additional recognition.
All Top Women honorees were selected by a panel comprised of members of the legal community and representatives of Lawyers Weekly. The judges chose to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the legal profession while also serving as role models for young women entering the law.
I’m also pleased to announce this year’s scholarship recipient, Catherine Rutley. Catherine is a 3L at Boston University School of Law and will start at Goodwin next fall. Prior to law school, Catherine worked in Massachusetts state government for nearly three years, contributing to the drafting and passage of landmark opioid legislation in 2018. You’ll learn more about her in the profile included in this section.
I hope that you enjoy reading about the impressive women featured here.
