Mass. Lawyers Weekly Staff//January 10, 2019//
Members of the Massachusetts nonprofit and legal communities gathered at the John Adams Courthouse in Boston to help Lawyers Clearinghouse and the Access to Justice Commission kick off the seventh year of the Access to Justice Fellows Program. The program engages senior lawyers and retired judges in pro bono projects with nonprofits, legal services organizations and the courts. This year’s 20 fellows are working on projects involving affordable housing, disability law, domestic violence, workers’ rights, asylum for immigrants, student loan debt, and the mentoring of recent law school graduates.
