Magistrate Judge Sorokin presides over the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts’ Court Assisted Recovery Effort (C.A.R.E.), for drug-dependent defendants on supervised release.
In March and April, 2006, Magistrate Judges Sorokin and Dein presented a three-part seminar for new attorneys practicing in the U.S. District Court entitled “Lessons From the Bench,” sponsored by the Younger Lawyers Division of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
