Comments

1) Find an excuse for a continuance.

2) By far the most disrespectfully jurist I have ever encountered. Irrational, bombastic and rude, he asks improper questions and interrupts counsel without any basis.

Most disturbingly, there was a patent distinction between his behavior toward counsel from Worcester County and counsel from eastern counties, exhibiting a clear and unabashed bias against counsel from Boston.

I cannot express in strong enough terms how unbelievably inappropriate this judge’s conduct is.

3) He is the worst Judge on the Superior Court at the moment. He ignores the firm and fair trial date rules set by Judge Rouse. He is rude and impolite to lawyers and Court staff.

He is headed toward major trouble if does not change his conduct immediately.

He should have a camera in the Courtroom so he and his family can see how he behaves. If he did, he would be ashamed.

4) Be very prepared and careful about making a questionable argument.

5) The Judge was well prepared, knew the law, and had command over the proceedings. On the other hand, he was very curt and argumentative, bordering on the rude.

6) Attempt to get case assigned to another session.

7) Judge needs to improve judicial demeanor and respect for parties claims.

8) Excellent experience. Judge was well-prepared, had read papers in advance, quickly instructed attorneys to argue only issues presented by motions before the court, was well versed in complicated issue of law before the court. Does not appear to tolerate dillitory discovery tactics.
